About This Campaign
Over the last couple of years, we’ve been balancing the state budget on the backs of Washington students who attend our colleges and universities.
Every time we reduce funding and instead raise tuition, we impact students and families who want a better future. If we truly value higher education, we need to invest in it and not close the door to tens of thousands of current and future students. In 2018, 67% of family-wage jobs in Washington will require education beyond high school. Our students deserve to be qualified for those jobs, and our economy depends on it.
