On the Ballot

The League of Education Voters works to improve Washington’s public schools through a grassroots statewide network of advocates.  We advocate for reforms and adequate funding by talking to policymakers and lobbying in Olympia.  When these efforts aren’t enough to get the results our children deserve, we have turned to the initiative process to ask the people of Washington State to support public education.

The League of Education Voters has sponsored two statewide initiatives, I-728 and I-884, and supported or opposed many others based on the impact to children and public education.

For the 2009 ballot, LEV has taken a position on the following measures:
