Another new intern for LEV!

Greetings LEV Readers,

I’m Katrina, a new research intern at League of Education Voters and a student in Seattle University’s Master of Public Administration program. Perhaps not your typical student, my background includes many years of technical documentation work in the private sector, followed by a time of increasing focus on schools and community organization, while raising my three kids. My motto is: you’re never too old to learn!

I’ll be spending the next couple of months with the team at LEV, working to understand the world of education policy advocacy and helping to add my own voice as a long-time Seattle Public Schools parent.

I’m looking forward to engaging in the conversation about education in our state!
